Winter Photography 2019-2020

I have a small problem, you see, I love winter photos. Snow falling, bright nights, and lots of different things to experiment with. But I hate cold weather, it just rubs me the wrong way. So whenever there’s a chance to sit warmly at home and do literally anything else than going outside in the cold. This is a shame since when the spring comes it’s really but full and all, but I start missing those winter shots. Then you see someone on the net sharing these images and get super jelly. I’m planning to fix that, and not just spin this nonstop.

But the thing in the world has changed, and here, in Lithuania, it’s quite rare to have a really nice winter now. I mean winter that’s actually cold and has lots of snow not just for a single day. I still have hope that these powerful winters return, yeah I know I don’t like cold, but it’s now better than not having any winter at all.

So this is my fledge for God, or something that does or doesn’t exist somewhere – “Dude, just maybe roll back on that Global warming stuff, and I promise I won’t complain about the cold eve”. Fingers crossed, oh and when shooting at colder temperatures, you have to be a bit more careful. Don’t let your camera stay in the complete cold for long or try to always have a wipe ready.

The worst thing if moisture gets under your lens then it can get foggy constantly when you enter warm places, so try to avoid big temperature changes.

Here’s a glass of warm cocoa for colder winters. If you want to find some more spring-like, here are some flower photos. And if you want, here are a few inspiration photos that I use to get ready for my future winter projects.
